Update Rollup 14 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 is now available!

Posted by Greg Lief

On Thursday, July 11, 2013, Microsoft released Update Rollup 14 (UR14) for Dynamics CRM 2011. You can download UR14 from here, and a complete list of the 30+ fixes in UR14 can be found here.

Unlike UR12 (Polaris), this update does not add major functionality. However, all of the new Polaris features are included, along with support for Windows Server 2012 and ADFS 2.1 (originally introduced in UR13).

If you plan to install Dynamics CRM 2011 on Windows Server 2012, you must install the latest Self-Healing Setup (SHS) package when you are prompted to “update install files” during CRM setup. The SHS package is hosted on the Microsoft Update site. The SHS package is also required if you want to upgrade to Windows Server 2013 for an existing installation.

As always, Armanino suggests that you wait a few weeks before deploying UR14 to allow for thorough testing before implementing it into your production environment.
